Founded as a General Contracting firm, Taylor Geosynthetics, Inc had the opportunity to complete our first Geosynthetic project in 1987. With the changes in regulations, the need for Geosynthetic products and installation became more prominent, creating an opportunity for TG,I to become more active in this industry. From 1987 until 1997, TG,I serviced both the Geosynthetic and Construction Industries. At the end of 1997, the decision was made to concentrate our efforts to providing and installing quality Geosynthetic products only. Lee Taylor, President and Founder Lee started in the construction Industry in the 1960's. From surveying to Town Manager, then working for a bridge contractor to going out on his own in the late 1970's, Throughout these years he learned the impact a contractor has on a project and has implemented that knowledge in the operation of TG, I. Lee has a hands on approach with Taylor Geosynthetics, Inc. From that first project, in 1987, it has been common to see Lee onsite performing the installation of products. Learning various aspects of installation and products has enabled Lee to become a well respected member of the Geosynthetic Industry. Lee works with Owners, Designers and Contractors to help assure a quality installation of Geosynthetics occurs on a project. He is always involved on a project from start to finish. Lee recently served on the Board of Directors of IAGI (International Association of Geosynthetic Installers).
Brent Taylor, Vice President After attending Purdue University, Brent joined the construction company in 1982. He worked his way up from laborer to President of the construction company. In 1997, when one corporation was formed, Brent was made Vice President of TG, I. Brent has the primary responsibility of the field crews and coordinating the installation phase of Geosynthetics. His goal is always to get the project completed quickly, with the quality expected. |
